Ok...so I probably dont have alot to say today other than that I have found myself looking back on this past week and I am TRULY very grateful.
You know how there are times,,,days...or weeks where you ponder...look back in sheer awe and wonder and eventually appreciation that you made it...you conquered LIFE!! :)
Thats right baby!! I did not give up...I did not succumb to my most primal instincts and curl up in a corner in some sort of brownie pan eating pathetic mess (thanks J&J...haha..)....but I found I was able to rise to the occassion that we call "daily life" and kicked it in the butt!
I hate to sound proud or indignant...that is certainly not my style or desired message.
But sometimes I truly think that not only are we entitled...but we owe it to ourselves to give ourseleves a little pat on the back. give ourselves a little break...to say to our innermost selves.... 'Hey, you really did great this week!!!!"...Now...Why is it that as woman we often look to others to give us that much needed reassurance or pat on the back yet we are not willing to take the lead in giving it to ourselves??
So that is my simple lesson for today,,,
"We teach people how to treat us"....
So...I ask myself today...what am I teaching??? :)
I hope I teach love, respect, compassion, empathy, embracing & valuing true friendship, laughter, and truly enjoying & supporting one another....Wether it be some random blog, cooking notes, or sharing a great moment we had with one of our little ones during the day. All of our small triumphs during the day can be shared with our friends and I know for me that really helps to make my day a win...win... :)
Look forward to talking to you soon!!

Mrs. Misuraca...you teach me things in ways you don't even begin to know. Here's a little secret...sometimes when I get all pertied up...I think "wow, maybe I could look good all the the time like Kristen"...seriously...I think you are so optimistic and wonderful and sometimes I think you are there in my life to keep me that way also. Thanks again for your friendship...and with what you've been through...you still hold your head up high...you always deserve a pat on the back!
I tagged you. Go to my site and read the rules....Have fun!
